Limitations of the integration

The WhatsApp Business integration in SpinOffice does have a few limitations that you should be aware of:

  1. No bulk messages – due to WhatsApp's guidelines, there may be restrictions on sending bulk messages or marketing campaigns.
  2. No group apps - due to WhatsApp's guidelines it is also not possible to work with group apps. When integrating an existing number you can therefore not participate in existing group apps.
  3. No chat history – no chat history can be retrieved. So every conversation starts without chatgeschiedenis.
  4. Every conversation starts with a template – WhatsApp requires you to start a conversation with a template, which you create in Meta. If the customer responds within 24 hours, the session remains active and you can message freely.
  5. No automation – while automated replies and chatbots are possible through the WhatsApp Business API, these advanced automation options are not yet available in SpinOffice.

Contribution per session

In addition to the annual license fee, Meta charges a fee per session you start. For each session (a 24-hour period that starts when you send a message or respond to a received message), Meta charges €0.0414. This rate covers all messages sent within these 24 hours. If a recipient does not respond within 24 hours, the session is closed.
