Import Contacts

The option to import all your Office 365 contacts is available in both the free Limited version and the Pro edition.

How does the import work?

  • Open the Home Dashboard.
  • Go to the Contact widget and click on the hamburger icon.

    • Office 365 import

  • Choose Import Contacts, then Office 365 Contacts.
  • Your internet browser is opened. Log in to your Office 365 account in order to link your account to SpinOffice once.
  • When connected, all contacts, including contact details, addresses and notes are imported.

The great thing about the Office 365 import option is that imported contacts are linked to email messages within the database. In this way, you make a good start to a well-structured CRM database.

If you import all your Office 365 contacts again after a month, SpinOffice automatically picks up all mutations and ensures duplication.

Import Calendar

Import all your appointments from Office 365 into the calendar in SpinOffice. You will notice the benefits: your CRM is instantly filled with your existing appointments.

In the free Limited version all appointments from the last 30 days and the coming 30 days are imported, while in the Pro edition all events are imported.

How does the import work?

  • Open the Home Dashboard.
  • Go to the Calendar widget and click on the hamburger icon.

    • Office 365 import

  • Choose Import Office 365 Calendar.
  • Your internet browser is opened. Log in to your Office 365 account in order to link your account to SpinOffice once.
  • When connected, your calendar appointments (depending on your license) are imported into SpinOffice.

The advantage of using the calendar in SpinOffice, is that calendar items can be linked to contacts, colleagues, folders or activities. Especially the contact link is interesting; this way you easily see in the contact’s archive when appointments took place with you or one of your colleagues.

If you import the Office 365 calendar again after a certain period, SpinOffice automatically picks up all mutations and ensures duplication.

Please note: in both cases it is an import and therefore not a constant synchronization. SpinOffice does offer that possibility with the mobile sync.
